Volunteer Shop Sales Assistants, Randwick and Bondi
An exciting opportunity to work for our Funky Charity Store in Randwick called OneNoffs and in Bondi Junction Opportunity Noffs.
Responsibilities/Duties will include:
- Advise customers on the price and care of goods available from the store, with the aim of encouraging them to buy and to return to buy in the future
- Operate cash registers and accept payment
- Package goods for customers after sale
- Price, stack and display items for sale, and keep the store tidy and attractive
- Be aware of health, safety and welfare issues and practices
Essential Requirements:
- Enjoy working with people
- Friendly and confident manner with a pleasant personality
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Able to clearly present product information
- Good personal presentation
- Excellent communication skills
- A helpful, courteous manner
- Able to deal accurately with money
- Willing to work as part of a team
